Our story

The
Experience Behind Samvad-Setu

Samvad-Setu was born from years of working at the intersection of communication, governance, media, and public policy. Before founding the firm, the team led high impact communication and editorial initiatives across national platforms, regulatory environments, and large scale institutional programs. This experience includes leading end-to-end editorial and regulatory operations for a national news platform, managing large organisational transitions, and handling sensitive crisis communication during periods of high public scrutiny.

The team has designed and executed national advocacy initiatives across eleven state capitals, convening policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, and governance stakeholders on critical economic and policy issues. Several influential platforms and initiatives were conceptualized and delivered during this journey, including policy roundtables, national conferences, masterclasses, awards platforms, and knowledge forums that created meaningful dialogue between institutions and industry.

Among the most notable initiatives was the launch of the Financial Journalism Awards, developed to recognise excellence in financial reporting and strengthen credibility in economic journalism.

Beyond platforms and dialogue, the team has consistently focused on creating knowledge driven communication assets. This includes the development of high impact white papers, policy reports, and research led publications that helped organisations articulate complex ideas with clarity and authority.

The leadership also steered editorial direction for a governance focused fortnightly magazine and acted as a strategic communication interface between policymakers, regulators, institutions, and the media ecosystem.

On the brand building front, the team has conceptualized and executed foundational communication assets for organisations, including brand books, corporate profiles, films, and audio visual narratives that established cohesive and credible brand identities.

Integrated communication campaigns across social and digital platforms particularly professional networks such as LinkedIn have been successfully orchestrated to strengthen engagement, awareness, and long term brand recall.

A defining example of this work was leading communications for the PMO awarded Varanasi Ghat CSR Project, where the team managed media engagement, stakeholder alignment, and public outreach for a nationally significant cultural initiative.
